Trees can be extraordinarily unpredictable and require the highest level professionals in the industry to safely remove them without causing further damage or accidents that could injure workers. There may be live powerlines entangled or branches that could become dislodged. Broken limbs that are still caught in tree branches may fall which may land on a vehicle, structure or even you or a family member. These risks are far too great to take a chance on and are why we recommend giving us a call. Any adjacent trees may have been damaged and be hazardous also. Not only is this a job that can become very dangerous for those attempting to DIY, most tree companies are under equipped to perform these technical extractions.
We do most of our work within 30 miles of State College, often in the communities of Park Forest Village, Boalsburg, Port Matilda, Toftrees, and Bellefonte, Lewistown, Huntingdon, Mill Hall, Colyer Lake, Tusseyville, PA Furnace, Philipsburg, Milesburg, Pleasant Gap, Penns Valley, Centre Hall, Spring Mills, Oak Hall, Linden Hall, Zion, Warriors Mark, Ramblewood, Woodward, Morrisdale, Howard, Bald Eagle, Milroy, Aaronsburg, Coburn, Millheim and other communities in the area.

"During a recent storm, a tree fell on our carport. It was 630 pm, and I scrambled to search for a tree service online. I tried calling Cutting Edge hoping for a voice mail option to call me back in the morning. To my surprise the call was answered by a real person who took all the information, sent me an email confirmation, and told me someone would contact me in the morning. Long story short, I was contacted that night by an arborist, had a fair-price quote by 8 am the following morning and the tree was removed and debris cleared by 1030 am. I still can't believe how quick, efficient, professional and reasonably priced these folks were. I would give them 6 stars if I could!" - Lisa Mazzocchi
"I can not say enough good things about Cutting Edge tree professionals. Nate and his team were extremely responsive, professional and calming during an emergency tree removal- and my husband and I could not be more thankful that they were able to help us. A tree fell on our home during a storm on a Saturday evening- and Nate and his team were able to successfully extract the large tree from our home safely and patch our damaged roof that very evening. We were extremely impressed with the tools that the team had at their disposal- and the dedication that the team took to ensure that they could safely remove the tree without causing any further damage to the structure of the home. The cleanup after the emergency removal was also done in a timely and professional manner- leaving our home and yard in a condition better than anticipated! If you are in need of any kind of tree services Cutting Edge provides an excellent service and I would wholeheartedly recommend them!" - Lauren Spigelmyer
"I had one half of a large "twin tree" shear off in a thunderstorm and fall across the front yard. There was also a large limb lodged high in other adjacent trees. Nate responded quickly to my request for help and provided a quote for removal. Given the large number of storms and tree damage in the area, Cutting Edge was extremely busy but Nate worked to get me on the schedule in a timely manner. He also had a grapple truck come out that same day and remove the tree debris that was already in the yard. The crew arrived on the expected date and did a great job of removing the remaining tree and the lodged limb. They also trimmed any damage in adjacent trees and did a great job cleaning up. I was not home while they were doing the work - but I was very happy with the completed results and the courtesy and professionalism of the entire team that worked on this effort." - Jerry Joullian

Major storms are not uncommon in the Pennsylvania region and sometimes they leave a great deal of damage in the form of broken and fallen branches and trees. We can safely remove any and all trees, branches and limbs that have landed in and around your property preventing any further damage.
Severely damaged trees should be removed to prevent further damage in a future weather event. Other trees may only require a trimming, or just removal of branches that have sustained enough damage that they cannot be treated and repaired. Although every effort will be made to save storm damaged trees, this is not always the best solution. Following our detailed assessment of the storm damage to the trees in your yard we will consult with you on what options exist based on the condition of the trees. We will work with you to complete a visually pleasing clean up and repair of the trees.
